About this Event
Your Raspberry Pi will help bring back those vintage video game memories.
You just thought you were having fun with your Raspberry Pi - - wait until you try MAME on your Pi - - this video game emulation system is fantastic!
I would definitely bring a blank microSD card just for this one (maybe a little larger than usual) because there are hundreds of gaming titles out there and some run better with one configuration than another - - we will go into detail about those caveats.
After the setup, there are some interesting ideas out there for builds that might inspire you to make a dedicated gaming rig for a Christmas gift or for a birthday present.
Hmmmm, the DMS multicam router can easily make an arcade cabinet...
As usual, do not be daunted if you are new to using the Raspberry Pi, all will be explained step-by-step. If you are falling in love with your Raspberry Pi, you have found your people.
Bring everything you need to run your Pi just like you do at home (keyboard, mouse, monitor, power supplies, USB adapters, power strip, etc. etc.). I will try to make sure
everyone has their own table to work on comfortably and at their own pace.
Definitely a lot of fun in one class - - tell your friends and check out more Raspberry Pi classes (usually on the same day):
