About this Event
Q: Where can I justify logically dedicating a Pi besides a drone or a TV?
A: Instrumentation projects
Bring another blank MicroSD, this is another arena where your Pi can shine
- - instrumentation.
No need to reinvent the wheel, there are excellent GUIs out there.
We will focus on the more mature ones to help get you started and to have more success in the long run. Building out a typical instrumentation project on the Raspberry Pi is the primary focus of this class.
We will also cover some of the utilities for detecting what your Pi has on board and how the information applies to what instrumentation you will be interfacing with.
The instrumentation interfacing will vary from class to class, but we will start out with some simple examples, then get into your project specifics.
If you already have some instrumentation you are working on, feel free to bring it because where you are in your project may help others and vice-versa.
Bring everything you need to run your Pi just like you do at home (keyboard, mouse, monitor, power supplies, USB adapters, power strip, etc. etc.). I will try to make sure everyone has their own table to work on comfortably and at their own pace.
Definitely a lot of fun in one class - - tell your friends and check out more Raspberry Pi classes (usually on the same day):
