About this Event

Come and learn a ceramic process for creating beautiful art. This is a hands-on class for absolute beginners. No experience required. In this class you will learn the art of glazing a kiln fired ceramic piece. You will learn the fundamentals of choosing and then applying glazes.

You will glaze an item from a previous slip casting class or pre-made items will be available for purchase. You will complete a ceramic piece for a final firing in the community kiln.

After you register, you will receive an email from me with additional class information and details on available pre-made items.
Pieces glazed in this class will be fired as a group. You must make arrangements to pick up your finished piece.

DSM members will learn the process for using, storing, and safety in the Ceramic Department.

Look for my other glazing, design, and project classes.
