About this Event
This class is your chance to apply what you've learned in the previous classes (or on your own) to create an advanced project of your own, with help from the instructor where needed.
Feel free to bring your own Arduino & things you want to make input devices out of.
I will be demonstrating:
1) How to make your own potentiometer to control on-screen graphics using nothing but an Arduino, pencil lead, and 3 alligator clips
2) How to build a program to drive an RGB LED to take on the color seen by the camera
3) A pulse visualizer built with the Processing Video library using light transmitted through your finger to see your pulse based on minute color changes
Special Considerations and Warnings
If you are not a programmer or are not familiar with Processing, I would highly encourage to also register for the Processing classes offered before this class on the same night.
Please have Processing, the Video library, and the Minim sound library pre-installed on your laptop. I also highly recommend that you bring an Arduino, a breadboard, an LED, and a Potentiometer -- but what you bring is limited by your imagination, if you already have your own project idea.
