About this Event

The term lampwork refers to melting glass using a torch. The technique can be used to make all sorts of glass baubles (e.g., beads, pendants). In this class we will cover Lampworking safety, common terms, and the steps to make small glass beads. Students will then get to practice making beads.

The class fee covers the cost of glass rods, fuel, and other consumables used in class.

The hope is for each student to be able to take home some beads they've made during class, but please be aware that beads do break sometimes.

Talk @ladysandry with any questions :)
