Printers we have worked in the small scale lets get large!

The North Texas Printmaking Guild is hosting a Steam Roller print event at the Deep Ellum Art Company on May 6th 2018.

This class will teach the process of planning and execution of a 2' x 3' wood block over the course of multiple dates.

$15 class materials fee does not include the $35 Steam Roller event registration fee paid directly to North Texas Printmaking Guild. Registration for class is due by March 28 to allow for class materials purchase.

Student will receive a 2x3 ft MDF block plus a small sample block to practice your marks before carving. shellac will be provided for final class to seal your block for printing.

Bring your preliminary image on 6"x 9" which will scale smoothly to the block.

Class Schedule
March 31 @ 12-5pm Discuss theme of 'May Day", methods of transferring image to your block. Dye your block in preparation of hand carving, & review alternate carving techniques .

April 14 @ 5-10pm Transfer images. dye your block, carving feedback.

April 28 @ 12-5pm Transfer of image, dye your block , carving feedback & seal if you are ready.

May 2 @ 7-10pm Wrap up! Seal your block, & run a test print if your block is already sealed.

May 6th @ 10 am - 6pm Deep Ellum Art Company Steam Roller print day !
