About this Event

Class will cover the basic TIG welding process and operation of the Lincoln TIG Welder. I recommend you buy and bring your own Tig welding gloves to aid in the process, eg https://www.amazon.com/Caiman-White-Goatskin-Welding-Tig-Medium/dp/B00IFDXSTE

Class will cover:
- The basic setup, operation and maintenance of the Lincoln TIG welder.
- Welding mild steel
- Tips for setting up and welding your projects

Class is limited to DMS Members, with a maximum of 8 participants. “Sitting in” or “just listening” is not permitted.

Cost of the class is $30.00.
All proceeds go to DMS Metal shop for materials and supplies.

Special Considerations and Warnings

Participants must have taken welding Processes and safety class to enroll in this class. Please wear natural fiber clothing with long sleeves and long pants without cuffs. Closed toes shoes are also required. Long hair needs to be secured. If you have your own welding helmet, gloves and other safety equipment, please bring it.
