About this Event
Get in the holiday spirit while learning all about the latest craft craze: needle felting!
During this two hour class, we will make a holiday ornament perfect for hanging on a tree or giving as a gift to that special someone.
The basics of needle felting will be covered including how to create a basic fabric from roving, adding and combining colors, as well as creating lines, spheres, and other shapes.
The history of needle felting will also be discussed. To further help make this rich history come alive, several historical food dishes will also be provided. Recipes, complete with ingredient lists, will be available for those who wish to recreate the dishes at home.
Can't wait to see you there!

Special Considerations and Warnings
For those with wool allergies, it's recommended you bring a pair of gloves to prevent skin irritations from handling the wool roving.
While every effort is being made to take food allergies and dietary restrictions into consideration, due to the nature of historical recipes, it's impossible to guarantee that they can be accommodated. If you have a food allergy or a dietary restriction, please refer to the ingredients listed on the accompanying take-home recipes to determine if it's safe for you to eat the dish.
