About this Event

This class is setup to support students new to pistols and rifles as well as those well versed in safety and maintenance of firearms. For newbies we offer an introduction to the safe handling of pistols and rifles as well a walking them through the process of cleaning a pistol or rifle with the tools provided by the Hatcher’s Committee. There is no requirement for attendees to bring their own firearm, we will have examples available for attendees to learn with. For those well versed in firearms safety and maintenance, the class will be an opportunity to put your safety procedures in practice and to serve as an example of best practices to others in the room. This will also be an opportunity to discuss your favorite products and techniques for your specific firearms of choice. Lastly, you will have the opportunity to clean your own or a provided firearm with others and share in the comradery of the Hatcher’s Committee. This is an opportunity to build contacts within the committee for future projects like reloading and gun smithing.

Special Considerations and Warnings

** All pistols and rifles in this class will be unloaded and no live ammunition will be allowed in the room. If you choose to bring your own pistol or rifle to the class, please bring it in a case unloaded.
