About this Event

This is the first of 3 classes necessary to get access to using the HAAS CNC Vertical Mill.
This is an all classroom event which will cover a small project and will lead the student thru doing the Computer Aided Machining (CAM) portion of a 3D model of a Domino. This class introduces the student to Fusion 360 to create the tool path files and setups for the project before proceeding to the next step.

The student will be guided thru the CAM process in a step-by-step procedure which should guarantee success and consistency of the project and the learning process.

Links to all learning materials are provided. The student will take these and create the necessary project files on their own time and the files must then be submitted for accuracy check before proceeding to the Part 2 class. No prior CNC experience is necessary, however it will be left up to the student to learn to access fusion 360 and to learn to create their own models as they move forward to machine access. Other classes are being created to help with this.
