About this Event

Viking wire weaving makes a flexible band for bracelets and/or necklaces

Viking wire weaving aka Triconopoly is a wire weaving technique that is easy to learn but makes elegant jewelry. It is similar to hand sewing, so no previous experience is required and all tools will be available to use in class. Children over 6 with parent are also invited as while this does require some fine motor skill.

There is no class fee and basic aluminum and/or copper wire is provided. A handout will be available as well as other materials and limited number of take home kits are also available if desired.

If you wish to bring your own please bring 24-28 gauge DEAD SOFT round uncoated wire.
Recommended tools include wire cutters, round nose pliers, a wood or plastic draw plate with graduated holes from 3/8" down to 1/8", and a round mandrel approx 3/8".

If you have any questions contact me at [email protected]
See you in class
Sean Ellwood

A small donation for the cost of the aluminum and/or wire will be accepted but it is NOT required.
Precious metal wire and findings will be available at market prices.
