Special Considerations and Warnings

Work and class in the machine shop area requires safety glasses whenever machinery is in use, closed top shoes (best are steel toe shoes). Note: The machine shop area can be a bit grimy.

Note: This is Part II, one can only enroll in this class after completing the self study, part I. Part one contains a quiz that forms a password.

Note: The Study material is at:
https://dallasmakerspace.org/wiki/Machine_Shop_Clausing_Colchester_Lathe_Self_Study. Go to "search dallas makerspace" box at the top of the Wiki page; type in: "Clausing Colchester Lathe Self Study" Follow the links three clicks deep to the content file. Take the quiz; the best answers form a cute, subject relevant word. If the letter sequence doesn't form such a word, review your answers. Email the password to me at [email protected] If correct I will add your name to the quizpass AD which will allow you to register for the class. Note it can take some hours, or even the next day, before the add results in a new permission in the system.
