About this Event
We will cut a 5" square plate, and contour-fuse it in the kilns.
Students have 3 options: a. provided glass - $10. (COE 90)
b. Go to Art Glass City in Lewisville and buy glass and decorative
bits. No charge. (COE 90)
c. Buy glass as above, but use my decorative bits - $5 (COE 90)
So far as I know, you'll have to buy a 10x10" or 5x20" piece of glass. It's marked $19.50, but there's an automatic 40% discount so it's $11.70 or so per sheet, plus tax. Frit and stringers are more. She may have some scrap glass in a drawer, if you ask.
We will discuss fusible glass, its' properties, and kiln programming.
