About this Event

The basic project for this course is a metal box which utilizes the stomp shear, the corner notcher, and both metal brakes. However, I will also do some demonstrations on how to use the bead roller, shrinker/stretcher dies, and some light English wheel work for those who want to make more complicated pieces. These tools are useful in creating panels for anything from metal cabinets to car fenders and metal sculptures.

Note: The cost of this class goes to the cost of materials, you will get a 12" square piece to use.

Special Considerations and Warnings

A pair of safety glasses will be required, standard corrective glasses are fine if you already wear glasses normally. A pair of gloves is recommended but not required, sheet metal has sharp edges and will cut you if you aren't careful.
