About this Event
Learn to make simple band rings with one solder joint. We will also be learning to use the hydroflux torch. We can use copper wire, but the solder is silver. If you have silver wire, you might want to bring it. I will also bring some silver round and pattern wire, for about $1 per inch. (Rings usually take about 3 inches).
Hand tools to be used include ring mandrel, various pliers, hammer. Plus the hydroflux torch (a training required tool). We will probably also cover the buffing wheel, also a training required tool.
Special Considerations and Warnings
Bring copper or silver wire or a few dollars to use instructor's (about $3 - $5 for silver for a ring, a little less for copper).
We are using the torch, so please wear natural fiber clothing, closed toe shoes, and long hair or beards should be pulled back.
