About this Event
Introduction to the basic tools and best safety practices of the woodshop.
Students who complete the course will be certified for use on the miter saw, joiner, plainer, table saws, band saws, and compound sander. Students will get hands-on experience with each of the tools as they take a section of board down to a squared-up piece of lumber.
Students should come with close-toed shoes and a way to tie back any long hair, as well as remove rings, gloves, and other jewelry.
>>Personal eye protection is required.<<
