About this Event

A deep exploration into the FusionPro's rotary tool, for new students and those already certified to use the FusionPro alike. The class will cover/re-hash setting up the rotary tool, special considerations when using the rotary, and then will allow each student hands-on experience to set up their mug, create their laser job from a default beginning, set up the machine, and laser their mug.

The cost of the class is for the mugs, and students are welcome (and encouraged) to keep their mugs after class ends.

Passing the FusionPro class is required to take this course. (The class immediately before this one is for anyone who wants to take this course but hasn't taken the required pre-req yet.)

If desired, you are welcome to bring your own design to replace the default Dallas Makerspace logo this class will be using. Please see the Special Considerations section for details.

Special Considerations and Warnings

If you would like, please select a simple image or logo to engrave into your water bottle and have it ready as a vector file before class begins. Anyone who does not have a vector file ready by class start will be using the Dallas Makerspace logo.

Please ensure your design is a vector file format (.svg preferred), and is only solid black and solid white. Please keep in mind during your design that black will be lasered and white will not, and plan accordingly. For more information, or if you do not know how to create a vector file, you can message me for help at cvrana on Talk or Chris V. on the official discord (https://discord.gg/hQFwKBqn).
