About this Event

Here is a chance to do paper crafts using paints, scrapbook papers, markers, crayons, colored pencils, and various crafting supplies to decorate 24” x 36” white paper bags. These bags are for senior citizens who receive groceries from the Salvation Army Mobile Food Pantry.

This community service group fills the bags with food to give to senior citizens. Not only is this event for a useful purpose, but you get the chance to dabble with being artistically creative. Brighten up a senior's day with art and quotes delivered with their food.

If this sounds like an event worth your time, I look forward to seeing you. If you have crafting items you would like to use or donate for this event, please bring those with you. I will bring my own supplies (paper, crayons, glue sticks, glue guns, color pencils, etc.) that you are welcome to use during this event.

This would be a fun way for makers of all ages to participate and give back to those in need in our communities.

Special Considerations and Warnings

Children are welcome to participate, but an adult must remain with children younger than 13.

Depending on what material you use for your art, it may get messy. Please wear clothing that you don't mind getting dirty or be sure to bring an apron.
