About this Event
Anita Willis and Johnny BlueJacket will be volunteer hosting an off site Raku event held at Connor Malones home in Carrollton. The price of this event is $20.00 you pay directly to Connor, the night of the event.
We will meet at Connors house at 4pm sharp. - estimated time to complete projects 3-4 hours.
Class size is Limited to 8
**Please bring 3 bisque pieces, 2 for glaze Raku firing and 1 for horse hair firing .
Size between 6-8 inches each piece. Do not bring large items.
Slip cast items are welcome if they are made with the midfire Raku slip that Connor makes for us. Please note these are not as thermal resistant and sometimes crack.
We will be waring mask and staying 6 ft apart. Drinks and snacks are welcome but we need to be mindful not to cluster together.
Please note on your greenware you plan to bring this is to the Raku event, or glazing event "please fire asap", so the kiln team gets your item in. You should have plenty of time starting **now** to get your items made.
*****Keep an eye on the calendar for the raku glazing event prior to this event, for raku participants on Saturday Nov 28th. Please attend both events!!!
Please ware natural fiber clothing and closed toe shoes. You may want to bring a jacket. Also, please bring Newspaper that we can use to line the trash cans with.
Our past events have been a great deal of fun and a chance to get to know your fellow makers better.
*Horse hair will be provided.

If you sign up and don't show up, you will not be accepted into any of my future classes. Please make sure you can commit to Dec 5th at 4 pm before you enroll.
