About this Event
Mask and social distancing are both mandatory.
*This class is meant to challenge the beginner hobbyist or add a new item to your ceramic repertoire. You must have completed a hand building 101 class in order to enroll in this class. This class includes slab-rolling, slipping, scoring and sculpting. You will end up with a piece of greenware.
In this class you will:
Roll a slab. Cut out a triangle, form a cone. Cut pieces and attach them by slipping and scoring.
After you are done, you may label, store and place pieces on the shelves.
Special Considerations and Warnings
By signing up for this class, you are consenting that if you should feel ill and/or have a fever prior to the class, you will stay home and not attend this class. Should you attend this class and test positive for covid recently afterward, you will notify DMS/the instructor so that they can notify their classmates that they were potentially exposed to COVID.
By signing up for this class, you are consenting to photography and videography. Photography and videography obtained during the class may be used for DMS Ceramics promotional purposes via social media.

We highly recommend that you take multiple classes from multiple teachers. There are many ways to get an amazing end result and each teacher has their own unique way of creating and throwing with clay.
