About this Event

Introduction to the basic tools and best safety practices of the woodshop.

Students who complete the course will be certified for use on the miter saw, joiner, plainer, table saws, band saws, and compound sander. Students will get hands-on experience with each of the tools as they take a section of board down to a squared up piece of lumber.

Students should come with close toed shoes and a way to tie back any long hair, as well as remove rings, gloves, and other jewelery. Personal eye protection and masks required.

Wood will be provided.

THIS CLASS IS ALREADY FULL. If I have not talked to you over talk in the past few days, please do not sign up. I will be offering another class that you can join next week.

Special Considerations and Warnings

Close toed shoes, masks, and personal eye protection required. No ear buds or other music listening devices. If you have long hair, bring something to tie it back with. No rings or dangling jewelry.
