Interested in jewelry but don't know how to get started? This is the class for you! Students will learn jewelry basics including how to choose the correct thickness of metal for designs. During class students will anneal, saw, drill, texture, file and finish a design from a 2x2" piece of copper sheet. Design ideas will be available but students are encouraged to bring a sketch or printed design for a pendant, key chain or pair of earrings (2x2" or smaller). No experience necessary, responsible young adults are welcome!

Class cost includes all materials and consumables, including necklace chains and ear wires. We will be using torches; cotton clothing and closed toed shoes required, long hair should be pulled back. Safety glasses, aprons and magnifying glasses are provided.
