About this Event

The focus of this class is on techniques for using natural materials, such as corn broom straw, pasta, and dried beans to create cool-looking bronze pieces for use in jewelry or decorative items. Emphasis will be placed on safety and proper handling of hot metals and related equipment. The materials fee for the class is $15 and covers the cost for 1/2 lb of antique bronze casting grain, the purchase and preparation of the broom straw, and the use of the instructor's tools and supplies (cutters, sandpaper, polishing compounds, etc.) The fee should be paid directly to the instructor at the beginning of class. Please contact the instructor if you have any questions or need clarification on anything. She can be reached by email at [email protected] or by text at 469-712-6529.
