About this Event

If you need that break-in scene to read just right - and if you'd like some first-hand experience to help you write it - this class is for you. This introductory course includes essential vocabulary and hands-on lockpicking practice with a variety of antique and modern locks, along with little-known hints and facts guaranteed to inspire your next ingenious plot twist. Limber up your picking fingers and get ready to write some wrongs!

PLEASE NOTE: this is a "pass the hat" class. Instead of paying a fixed up-front cost, we will ask you to donate as you are able at the end of the session (cash, check, or credit card all accepted). All funds raised from this workshop go to covering the cost of classroom supplies, and to supporting the Dallas Makerspace.
