About this Event

Upon completion of the first three classes, each student will have made and leave with a maple and/or walnut, cherry edge grain cutting board! During the fourth class, we will learn the bandsaw, drill press, and hand sanders.

Special Considerations and Warnings

You must be 18+ to attend this class.

Appropriate eye protection is required. DMS does make necessary protective gear available, but feel free to bring your own. Appropriate work shop attire is required including long pants/jeans, short sleeve shirt/top (or long sleeves with cuffs rolled above elbow), and sturdy closed-toe shoes or work boots. NO: overly loose fitting (i.e. baggy) clothing; unbound long hair; dangling/swinging jewelry and other accessories, or gloves.
