About this Event

This is the Second in a series of Shop Made Tools. This tool will be a Bench mallet. Two classes are required to complete the Mallet.

Upon completion of the two classes, each student will have made and leave with a maple and/or beech Bench mallet.

These close grained beech and or maple mallets have angled faces that provide a maximum striking surface with reduced wrist and arm fatigue. The handle is chamfered for a comfortable, splinter-free grip and is secured in the head making it impossible for the head to loosen and fly off.

Weighs ~20 ounces, Mallet head 2 1/4 by 4 1/2", Handle is chamfered for a comfortable, Splinter-free grip
