About this Event

Curious about how acid etching is done?
Looking for a personal, inexpensive gift?
Needing a last minute gift?
Join us! We will each make a gift. Glass and Stencil provided. IF you want your own image, cut it out on the vinyl cutter. Email me for details.

This class covers:
Image prep and cutting
The acid etching process
Safety concerns
Selection of glass & suitable glass items
Masking with vinyl and other techniques
Some lessons learned

Special Considerations and Warnings

Bring an image file (cloud storage, memory stick, email...). Preferably a vector, but a high resolution black and white image will work as well. Simple, clean lines. Not too fine in details.

We will be playing with a mild acid, but acid none the less. Gloves and eye protection are good ideas.

No gratuity required nor expected.
Instructor enjoys Stout beers, pizza, and tacos. Just in case you were wondering.
