About this Event
Come learn to cast a shot glass using resin and alcohol inks in a silicone mold
This unique art form uses alcohol inks that sink to the bottom of the mold (rim of the glass) and creates a really cool, drip effect in the shot glasses.
*Now with 2 shot glasses per student!*
We will be casting in silicone molds, using high quality two part resin and allowing to cure for 24 hours before de-molding.
In order to de-gas the resin and remove any bubbles, the instructor will place the molds into a pressure pot. They will be placed on the shelves the next morning after the class.
**Please note it will take an additional 48 hours to fully cure. You can come by the next night to pick up your finished pieces. You may wish to lightly sand/wet sand to finish after full curing time.**
Class time: 1.5 hours but may not take entire time.
Special Considerations and Warnings
Please wear something you do not mind getting dirty and closed toed shoes. We are using sticky resin and alcohol ink dyes.
